Excitement is building as Christmas heads to Stewarton Academy with the school's annual winter fair.

The popular event tonight takes place tonight (November 30) and includes more than 60 craft stalls, with handmade jewellery, baked goods, soaps, and artwork to name a few.

Owl Magic will be on hand with their birds to make sure the little ones get a fantastic photo.

Choirs from Nether Robertland, Lainshaw and Kilmaurs Primary Schools will all perform, alongside singer, bands and a resident DJ.

Students have been busy and have an array of goods on offer for sale - including personalised wooden gifts, home baking, books, and lots more.

The fair also has a host of community groups with stalls to try and raise funds as well as chatting to residents about what they are up to

The parent council stalls also have a lucky dip tombola, raffle golden ticket, bottle stall, chocolate and refreshments.

Helpers will be selling homemade soup, hot filled rolls, hot dogs, chocolate crepes and chocolate fruit cups.

The fair runs from 6pm to 9pm and entry costs £2 and kids go free.
