A Kilmarnock woman has been ordered to undergo drug treatment after stealing gift sets from a busy store in the town.
Mary Ann Bell, 36, of Annanhill Avenue, pleaded guilty to three separate charges of stealing from the Boots store in the town's King Street.
Bell stole from the store on November 16 and on two separate occasions on November 29 last year.
At a brief hearing at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court, Bell agreed to be placed on a community payback order with two years of social work supervision.
As a requirement of the order Bell must also accept treatment for drug misuse.
