Police seized a motorcycle in Kilmarnock following complaints about anti-social behaviour in the town. 

Officers traced a male rider of the vehicle following reports of the bike being used around Jane Darnborough Gardens on Tuesday.

The rider was found to have no licence or insurance, and was subsequently charged and the bike seized. 

A police spokesperson said: "On February 13, police received reports of persons causing anti social behaviour by using a motorcycle around Jane Darnbourgh Gardens in Kilmarnock.

"Police attended and traced a male riding a motorcycle with no licence or insurance. As a result the male was charged with various road traffic offences and the motorcycle was seized by police.

"A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal."
