It's been another year of grand openings so far as Ayrshire's food and drink scene continues to explode.

The region has seen a host of new businesses open up to customers throughout 2023, and here are just a few to check out...

Nonna's House, Irvine

This eatery on Irvine's harbourside opened back in June, inside what was formerly Nancy's Kitchen.

The property had been empty since the previous year when Nancy's closed for good, but just ten months later food was back on offer with an Italian twist.

Nonna's House is a restaurant/takeaway which offers "authentic hand streetched pizzas", as well as deliveries.

The menu includes 11 different pizzas, which are made with fresh dough everyday, alongside a range of sides and dips.
