Two people were taken to hospital after a car crash near Kilmaurs on Monday.
Emergency services attended the two-vehicle crash on the B751, near Kilmaurs, at around 11.10am on Monday, January 15.
A 19-year-old man was taken to hospital in Glasgow and a 49-year-old woman was transferred to nearby Crosshouse Hospital.
A police spokesperson said: "Around 11.10am on Monday, January 15, we were called to reports of a two-vehicle crash on the B751 near Kilmaurs.
"Emergency services attended and a 19-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, while a 49-year-old woman was taken to Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock.
"The road was reopened at around 4.40pm and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
