Plans have been lodged to create a new outdoor pursuits rest area at Trump Turnberry.
The resort is looking to renovate a former stable block Coach House within Little Turnberry Farm.
The building sits close to an area used for outdoor activities, and would provide guests with a sheltered area.
The programme of restoration works includes the retention and repair of the existing building fabric, replacement of windows and doors to match the style of the farm and the installation of a high quality period style interior.
In addition, it is proposed to erect an external steel stair and provide an outdoor seating area in order to expand the facilities available at the outdoor activity centre area.
Planning documents state that the renovation would "retain the character and appearance" of the building.
They added: "The facility to be provided shall ensure the long term viability of site and will contribute to the desired enhancement of the provision of high quality leisure facilities in South Ayrshire.
"In addition to the direct economic benefit associated with the enhancement of a successful enterprise, wider benefits will accrue to the area in terms of expenditure within South Ayrshire with the staff retained and attracted as a result of the development."
