A much-loved Ayr coffee shop has been put up for sale by its owners.
Thyme, on Alloway Street, will continue but will be available to purchase by prospective operators.
Its current owners say they cannot commit to the popular coffee shop alongside their other business in North Ayrshire.
A spokesperson said: "We are moving on.
"We did plan to be here for the long term, but unfortunately, due to our other business expanding, we can no longer commit the time needed for this little gem of a coffee shop.
"We have loved our time in Ayr and have had fantastic feedback from customers, we've been amazed at times by how far people have travelled to visit us.
"We did consider taking Thyme with us to North Ayrshire, but after speaking with locals and regulars, we all agreed that the shop is too much of an asset to the town centre.
"Business will continue as usual, for the top food and coffee in the town centre you know where we are
"Just drop the page a message for more information on the sale."
Previous owner Rachel Munro sold up the successful Alloway Street spot after an incredible five years.
