EMERGENCY services raced to a two-vehicle crash on the A71 in East Ayrshire this morning.

Police were called to the scene in Galston at around 11am.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The A71 is closed at Galston following a two-vehicle crash reported around 11am on Thursday, 17 October.

“Officers are in attendance and road users are advised to avoid the area."
