TENS of thousands of visitors are set to flock to Troon shorefront on Saturday night for the annual fireworks show.
The fireworks on Barassie shorefront are run by Troon Round Table, and also include a lively funfair with rides for all the family.
This year's fireworks will take place on Saturday, November 2 and will kick off at 7.30pm, with the funfair open from 4pm to 9.30pm.
There is no charge to visit, with a suggested donation of £10 per family. Text 'TROON' to 70085 to make a suggested family donation of £10.
The funfair/firework display area are within walking distance from both Troon and Barassie train stations.
There are limited public parking facilities located within the town centre all within walking distance on North Shore Road, Academy Street, South Beach Road and Titchfield Road.
There is a Temporary Prohibition of Waiting Order which imposes restrictions on the following roads:
- B746 North Shore Road / Beach Road, Burnfoot Avenue, Walker Avenue, Troon
- North Shore Road / Beach Road (both sides), from its junction with Kilmarnock Road south then south-westwards to its junction with Barassie Street.
- Burnfoot Avenue (both sides), from its junction with Beach Road eastwards to its junction with Barassie Bank Lane.
- Walker Avenue (both sides), from its junction with North Shore Road north-eastwards to its junction with Burnfoot Avenue.
