Ayrshire youngsters will have the opportunity to try out the growing sport of padel tennis next month.

West of Scotland Padel is hosting an open day for juniors aged 6 to 17 years old.

Potential players can head along to the courts at Stevenston to see what is on offer, have fun, try padel and enjoy the fastest growing sport in Europe.

Padel is a cross between tennis and squash, usually played in doubles on an enclosed court one-third the size of a tennis court.

The free event takes place on October 22 from 10am to 4pm, and to book a place go to www.clubspark.lta.org.uk/WestofScotlandPadel/Coaching.
