Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes has confirmed that star winger Matty Kennedy will miss this weekend's game against St Mirren.
The winger was absent from the squad as Killie crashed out of the cup to Aberdeen at Pittodrie last weekend.
And the Killie gaffer has now revealed that he is also set to miss the crucial home clash with the Buddies, with both sides fighting over fourth spot in the league.
He said: "It's nothing too sinister. We got him scanned and go the results back, he has a grade one strain on his medial ligament.
"It means he'll be back after the international break and he's not going to miss too many games, but unfortunately this one comes too quick for him.
"We missed him last week there's no doubt about it. Matty has been in such good form and it's important that we adapt better than we did."
